Today\u2019s managers belong to the last generation that has led only human teams<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The future belongs to hybrid teams \u2013 a collaboration between humans and AI systems<\/span>.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Hybrid Teams Ask Different Questions<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Where leadership can let go of control, it creates space for co-creation \u2013 and invites new demands<\/span>. Trust-based collaboration starts with understanding the respective strengths and weaknesses \u2013 both human and machine. It also requires a deep knowledge of the underlying dynamics. Successful cooperation depends on clear processes, ethical guidelines, and systemic awareness<\/span>.<\/div>\n

AI is not an end in itself. It must be applied with contextual sensitivity \u2013 with the aim of creating real value for people, organizations, and society<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A New Form of Collaboration<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Those who can effectively lead human teams today are well positioned to lead hybrid teams tomorrow. This doesn\u2019t primarily require technical expertise, but rather classic leadership qualities: the ability to focus on what matters, make sound decisions, connect relevant knowledge, and lead conversations in ways that offer direction, build clarity, and strengthen team cohesion<\/span>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no longer about hierarchy and control \u2013 it\u2019s about contextual understanding, the ability to engage in dialogue, and cooperation skills<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What Changes as a Result?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u2794 AI<\/strong> <\/span>Imitates human abilities: <\/strong>thinking, planning, learning. But truly connected human thinking remains unique \u2013 because it also involves feeling<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2794 AI <\/strong>needs smart leadership<\/span><\/b>: <\/strong>It can perform tasks, but it doesn\u2019t think independently. Using AI responsibly requires critical thinking, strategic competence, and accountability<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2794\u00a0Convenience can become a risk<\/span><\/b>: <\/strong>Over-relying on AI may erode our ability to think independently. The critical thinking muscle needs regular training!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2794 Teambuilding <\/strong>is following new dynamics<\/span><\/b>: <\/strong>Hybrid collaboration requires new forms of leadership. Systemic thinking reveals patterns earlier \u2013 and creates space for meaningful, effective collaboration<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Future Needs Critical Thinking<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Good leadership also means questioning assumptions. Especially in times of technological change, it\u2019s essential to challenge mental habits. More often than not, it\u2019s not the technology that slows us down \u2013 it\u2019s our familiar routines, ingrained assumptions, and cognitive blind spots. To create new paths, we need the courage to question our convictions and intentionally shift perspectives.<\/p>\n

The way we ask questions is essential.<\/strong> Not just for individuals, but for organizations as well. Staying future-ready requires ongoing reflection. And the best answers come from better questions<\/span>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Consciously Shaping Tomorrow<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Using AI safely and meaningfully goes far beyond applying individual tools. It\u2019s about strategy, automation, ethics, and change processes. That\u2019s why I\u2019m currently deepening my knowledge in the\u00a0MBAI<\/i>\u00a0program at Leaders of AI \u2013 to better understand how everything is systemically connected and to support people and organizations effectively in the age of AI<\/span>.<\/div>\n

We are just at the beginning of a new era. AI will play a defining role. That\u2019s why it\u2019s all the more important to engage with it responsibly. It\u2019s up to us how we shape what\u2019s to come<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
